This song is about getting caught up in the White Night riots, which were a reaction to the Dan White verdict and sentencing. Dan White was a City Council member who killed our wonderful Mayor Moscone and the pioneering activist City Council Member, Harvey Milk.The sentence was very light and the City was enraged.
